The event will feature German Kuchen and Torten, coffee and tea with a musical program at 3:30 to 4:30 by Tenor Michael Harris and Pianist Gregory Schulte as well as the Lissel- Pexa String Quartet. Enjoy a delightful afternoon with friends in the spirit of Advent.

Christmas Market at St. Mary's Parish, Saskatoon

St. Mary's Parish is hosting Christmas Markets in the parish hall at 20th St. W. and Avenue O S. in Saskatoon, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on each of the following days:  Saturday, Nov. 10; Sunday, Nov. 25;  Sunday, Dec. 2;  Saturday, Dec. 8; and  Saturday, Dec. 15.These Christmas Markets are a fundraising effort for St. Mary's Parish, with support from visitors and vendors alike. Admission is FREE. There will be door prizes, many different local business vendors, crafters, kid activities, entertainment, special guests such as Santa and movie characters,  as well as food vendors, baking, raffles and more. Please note that vendors and entertainment vary for each market - and this is an event open for guests of all ages.NOTE: There is still room for new vendors. Spirited Environmental Action?: Why? How? By Who? Those interested in continuing the conversation about people of faith coming together to care for our common home can join Communities Inspired for Environmental Action at the Congregation Agudas Israel at 715 McKinnon Avenue in Saskatoon on November 29 at 7:15pm, when faith leaders including Sandi Harper (Indigenous Spirituality, Teacher at Saskatoon Public Schools Teacher), Ilyas Sidyot (Islam, Imam at Islamic Association of Saskatoon), Claudio Jodorkovsky (Judaism, Rabbi at Congregation Agudas Israel), Sean Sanford Beck (Christian, Anglican Priest) and Carroll Chubb (Unitarian, Green Sanctuary) will address the evening’s theme, Spirited Environmental Action?: Why? How? By Who?, from the podium in the sanctuary. A short panel-based discussion featuring the faith leaders and based upon audience questions will follow will from the stage. Then all in attendance will be given an opportunity to address the why, how, and who questions in moderated groups. A synthesis discussion will close the evening. In this way, audience participation will help craft a common action statement and solidify the vision of Communities Inspired for Environmental Action. All are welcome at this important evening.
